Gaseous hydrogen is stored at high
pressure in a ‘bumpstop’. A ‘bumpstop’
consists of a number of high pressure
cylinders manifolded (connected) together.
Tube trailers can also be used as static
storage at sites where the volumes and
pressures required are higher than can
be provided by a bumpstop.
