Air Products is the world's leading supplier helium. Found in only a few natural gas wells, mainly in the USA, Russia and Algeria, helium is a high value gas. Helium's unique characteristics which make it an essential component for numerous applications. It is colourless , odourless, inert and inflammable and importantly, is lighter than air. One obvious application for helium therefore is as a balloon gas for the party and leisure industry.
